I'm starting to hate js. Every library needs atleast 1000 other libs. I just blew the node_modules folder to 100mb with just one npm require

I want to get into front end. What's a good alternative to js?

Install gulp via npm, bower for your front-end libs and for the rest, just use another language xD

One of my friend who is a js fanboi has his npm module folder size > 5GB

Ever looked at an emberjs cache, 2 f*cking gb just for “hello world“

You'll be shocked what these library may contain in all those files.

If youre node modules folder goes past 100mb for a small app then you're fundamentally on the wrong path.

@Data-Bound I though the GNU hello world was bad enough being 3MB uncompressed. This is outrageous!
