it's a pain to go through those txt files on the IEEE standard website but it's really interesting. As it gives you new ideas on what is possible. For example impress your boss by building the feature that everyone else thought was impossible by using an little known ancient IEEE spec from 1992. 😄

Bubbles68266y@heyheni that sounds very interesting. I’ve been messing with sockets and attempting to build a FTP Server and Client. But I’m trying to use sockets and look at FTP stuff there was just some things that I didn’t understand and even more when I looked at FTP stuff so I’m gonna learn from the ground up since it also covers other stuff I’ve been wanting to learn and will give me a much better understanding of everything

@heyheni you either have to have a special kind of stomach to read those specs... or just an open mind?

or any standard documentation in general, god those things are hard to read as fuck...

@erandria true. I'm no programmer. I've just got once tasked to improve the network of a small video editing company. So i've stumbled upon jumbo frames IEEE 802.3 and Link aggregation IEEE 802.1AX.
And other interesting stuff.
Gonna start to learn everything I can about Networking Programming. I’ve always wanted to do stuff that requires it so I’m gonna do it. **Also foreshadowing my next project**
