I fucking hate Dockers for windows because you have to run hyper- v for Dockers to work and that kills the ability to use 64 bit vm's in virtual box.

WTF !!!!

Won't things change if they actually ship a Linux kernel in Windows?

Have you tried Haggar instead? They are less pricey than Dockers. What? Ohhhhh. Docker for Windows. Yeah, the Devs I work with are going through that pain. My turn is coming.

Use the old docker toolkit, it is non hyperv, so vbox can co-exist.

You shouldn’t have any issues running vbox on Windows if you remove the hyper-v feature from your OS. I ran into a similar issue when working with vagrant and vbox. I was able to just remove hyper-v, reboot, and my vbox and vagrant installs were working just fine after that. Docker desktop runs on vbox smoothly as well.

If you have mission critical reasons to keep the hyper-v feature installed then I’m sorry, cause hyper-v is a bitch and really limited in the scope of what it can currently do with more linux friendly tools.

The first time I installed docker it ran it's containers in vbox. So maybe there is a setting somewhere.
