    Maybe someday they'll get the idea to scrap their terrible designs and start fresh. It would do the world some good. (So they probably won't.)

    @Root If you don't realize that there was a breach you will probably repeat the mistake, as well as adding new bugs.

    Since meltdown and spectre were published, as this kind of breach is conceptually new and totaly not expected by CPU designers, it's no surprise that during some time we will see different variation of it in various other components.

    @Kasonnara Absolutely; you're not wrong there. Any new development has the possibility of adding new bugs. However, their architecture has an exhausting number of flaws, and starting fresh would allow Intel to finally fix those issues.
