@RantSomeWhere it's a T430s, since seven years a very solid companion, the battery is pretty much dead by now, therefore the shitty power cord setup.

@gaaraDev I am running manjaro (for performance) with deepin desktop (need some eye candy while working). It's my best running system ever.

That's a nice setup, but it's too bright for my taste. I wonder how a dark theme would looks like for the garden

@fuzzyT If you're like me and can't find any satisfactory laptops to replace the good old thinkpads (mainly for the keyboards), take a look at "51NB" and "LCDfans", they are a small Chinese startup that makes replacement boards with modern processors for these old thinkpads. I got a "T70" (board for T60) and its been working great for a few years now.
