Anyway, how much money will the person that invented and mass-produced teleporters make?

it's more likely this person isn't born yet. however in some remote scenario, if it were to happen, it would most likely be a collaborative effort.

like the guys from caltech along with two more teams from europe that proved the IBMs teleportation theory is possible.

we haven't worked our way up since then to teleporting baboons just yet, but teams all over the world has great success teleporting light and even atoms! each one of them building on the research the previous team has done.

i don't think one person will be able to make a claim as the inventor of a teleporter.

besides we as a species havent come far enough yet to handle such technology. imagine the power one would have being in control of teleportation, as the question itself illustrates.

i do hope money and power will not be the main goal of the people founding the research of a first successful teleportation.

but all seriousness aside: my pick is Michio Kaku and the amount of money is E-Corp.
