I’ve been in your shoes, I believe the depression is lack of motivation, or no real “purpose” as far a project you really wanna do and have passion for.
Idk what it is but if you check all your levels, I bet something is too low. A vitamin of some sort, or what idk. But it is connected to motivation and dopamine.
Try some preworkout or energy drinks... I know high caffeine will help with motivation but there’s something else in my preworkout put that gives me a massive boost of energy and feel good mentality.
Half of it is a chemical unbalance and the other half is mental.. change your thoughts change your life. -

And get proffesional help.
