When you have a job interview, and to test your knowledge they make you write code on paper.

    I did that interview this week! for 5 goddamn hours!

    Maybe because besides writing code on a paper, you can draw a concept of the program so that it became easier to compile your thoughts into a code?

    @devitalizer Sadly not. They wanted me to write an algorithm for a specific problem in a specific programming language. No pseudo code or logic map.

    @ianchak then it must be a test on knowing the syntax, however it is stupid.
    Btw, what was the problem you had to write the code to solve?

    @devitalizer Don't remember the exact problem, but it was something that required a recursive solution.

    My high school programming class made us write our test answers on paper for some reason

    Thank god they just ask to write code on paper not ask for how u behave when u code... That might have needed explanation then.. 😀😜
