New feature request: Ability to post anonymously

Honestly, we've considered adding this. It wouldn't be completely anonymous. It would be where you still need an account, but can check off a box or something to make a specific rant anonymous. We've held off though for various reasons.

And yeah, there's nothing stopping anyone from having an alternate account, just like Reddit, if they don't want to have a certain post tied to their main account.

@navi if you think your boss may see your posts you probably shouldn't use your real name. There are tons of downsides to anonymous posts. Mostly lack of accountability - if people think there are no repercussions to the shit they say what's to stop them from making this a hostile environment.

@xroad I agree with you, may be it's time to change names, but usually colleagues are also on devrant and they would still know who it is.
I would not post anything harmful for company but ranting about boss's code needs anonymity if he doesn't take it well.

@navi that's a pretty fringe case bro. If people had to accommodate every scenario you'd end up with a pretty bloated app
