I was in the US Army. To be honest, it's all political cock-sucking no matter what branch you're in. They brand it as serving your country, but don't be fooled. You're just signing up to be some politician's slave. It's not all it's cracked up to be.

@Gogeta70 The US are a bit special in that they have a powerful military that kicks anyone's ass - and a political establishment so utterly braindead that they never know what to do with military victories handed to them and turn them into losses.
