    Sorry, my mistake.

this is a reasonably competent and comfortable editor and unlike it's big papa it mostly stays out of your way. been using it for last few months.

Never used it. I'm happy with atom.

@willliam05 give it a try. I'm also an Atom lover but it is fair to give another editors a try. Maybe you'll find something interesting :)

I've used it for one minute and then got back to atom

@zombie why? You didn't like it?

I have used code now for a week or so and I like it. It looks like it will replace sublime in my use

@javierojeda I do like to try new things like text editors but right now I'm really busy with college so it'll have to wait

Vs code is the best editor that makes debugging node js super easy

@willliam05 Try it. It's very fast! I love atom but launch times were terrible for me... I do miss my material design theme though

I moved form Atom to it about a week ago and I'm pretty satisfied with it, I would say that it's better than Atom.

@Pgdevpatryk it's Code, the text editor of Microsoft, not Visual Studio
  • 0
@Orionss well it's actually called Visual Studio Code, or Code for short

  • 2
@HTahboub I know but that's not what I meant. He reacted like if it was an old soft but Code is recent so I precised

@Orionss Ahh, that makes sense, sorry

It almost managed to make me switch, it's like Atom, just faster and with fewer bugs.

But for some reason it often randomly jumps through the file when I click somewhere with the mouse, so no thanks.

Used it, then tried Atom, then went back to Sublime

    I love it.

Btw, it's also made with Electron, just like Atom

Atom, Code, Sublime, I've tried them all but I keep going back to WebStorm

Installed it ended up using vs2015 even for webwork so still got it but have not been so many 100 lines on code on it

I was an atom guy, gave vs code a try and now I wouldn't say I'm an atom guy anymore 😋

It's my default editor as of a few months ago.

Been using atom since the beginning, been avoiding anything with Microsoft on it. Tried this out a few months ago, and never looked back.

VS Code is fantastic, and being actively developed which is good for every body. Great for Markdown too. Quality extensions.

I love Sublime, and Atom is getting a lot better, especially faster.

@viking8 yup but unlike Atom it can actually handle large files.

Tried it, still waiting for a better code editor than sublime text

Great for JavaScript debugging, otherwise I'll use sublime or emacs

Just discovered a strange... Shell of visual studio?
Ok it's not like it's made for .NET development anyways.
Curious to know what's up with the window though
