Any opinions/thoughts on Scaleway as a VPS provider? I'm thinking of trying their free offer for 500€ free credit until the end of the month.

Any warnings or caveats?

(Also, do they run offers like this often?)

Have been using them for a year, the big downside is that they dont have a RevereseDNS for their IPv6 network.

@Linux I guess that won't be a big deal for me, since I just wanna try moving my Minecraft server there, and maybe run i2p (currently looking around for their policy on that).

Other than that, everything running smooth? No bad billing surprises, or stuff like that?

(I've already noticed that they bill compute, ip, and storage resources separately)

I have 5 or 6 servers there, and I am a lucky man - because I bought them all when they was advertised as 1.99 EUR month.

@Linux You're a lucky man indeed. Just considering the electricity costs, in Germany you could use maybe 10-11 Watts (24/7) for that, which equals about 4 Raspberri Pi without hard drives [¹] or maybe a single more powerful arm device. No chance with anything x86, plus having to deal with hardware cost, availability, (internal) network security, WAN connection, ... no brainer.
