Dont take that personally. You get a predefined rejection letter that they use for all sorts of positions. Brush it off and power on! :)

There's lots of resources and free advice for crafting good CVs and covering letters. You should modify your application to suit the requirements of the position. Focus on the bits of experience that match the job specification. I actually wrote my wife's application/CVs for an unrelated industry. She got an interview for every job she applied for. Spend the time to bull up your suitability for a particular role and watch those interviews come in instead of rejection letters. You have to play this fucking game to get anywhere, unfortunately. Good luck!!

Sometimes it's also just who you know. I know I've been hired because I was an internal employee once and knew how to reach the actual manager who was hiring. I didn't fully qualify for the position but I was groomed to. I'm sure I kicked more qualified candidates out for the position and they received said stock rejection letter

peek4y4128y@helloworld true, but I got my CV reviewed, and after several iterations, I did get it to a resonable state.(its not so bad that you could blindly reject kinda resume), Ill never give up. Will keep em posting until some angel picks my resume and calls me for an interview.
Boy I hate those automated messages. -
suprano38308yDon't worry bro. We're in the same boat. I've been wondering the same too and I've been crafting my resume to match the job descriptions too. Let's just hope for the better. 😀

A friend was hiring a dev. He got over 400 aplications. He went trough 20 of them before finding a suitable candidate. 380 guys got a generic rejection letter without their applications ever being looked at. So, it's not personal. It just isn't productive to give 399 carrer consultations for free.
Every fucking time, I apply for a role that suits, NOT SOME SUPER SENIOR ROLE THAT REQUIRES HUGE FUCKING EXPERIENCE, I get an email "After careful consideration, we've decided not to move on" BITCH YOU HAVENT EVEN MENTIONED WHAT YOU HAVE "CAREFULLY" CONSIDERED, I HAVENT APPLIED FOR SOME SPECIAL SPACE SCIENTIST POSITION YA CUNT.
