Any of you devs have your Masters degree? How did it influence your career?

I do, it gives a new perspective on how you think about something

I do, and it surely did in that I got a related job at all.

I have a master's. I'm glad I did it, however I cant say it tangibly gained me anything. Sure if I hadn't gotten a master's then I wouldnt be where I am today, but that's not to say I'm only here because of my degree.

A big reason I did it was the job market was bad at the time, so getting another degree is a good way to delay looking for a job.

Nope but our study system (Netherlands) works differently. Didn't go to uni or college but I did study and finished that one successfully. Till now it hasn't mattered yet when getting jobs!
