People who literally ask "How to I translate this code to this programming language/framework" without even attempting to read the documentation should burn in a fire.

How do I translate this post to javascript?

While i agree there are situations where its fine imo.

Im front end and write tests for react.js and our back end is ruby on rails. We use fixtures to populate the BE data for our tests which means i write some ruby. Having had no experience to begin with and they having just introduced factories i was a bit baffled by the syntax. A couple of times seeing some one write them in front of me and you have your started help to attempt it yourself.

@Santaclauze well you did not ask the question, you just started trying.

The OP was ranting about people that wanted someone to tell them how to do it without them having to spend time learning ;)
