This must be the most unforgettable Chinese New Year to me.
People are checking body temperature everywhere, and restricting traffic. All theaters, parks, any public places are shut down. People are told to stay home, which is what I have been doing in the past 2 weeks. Most of the time I was coding. It's kind of frustrating. I don't know how long this will last. Situation looks severe from the news.

Low lethality but it is better to prevent it until it is over or a vaccine is developed. Better save than sorry.

@Gregozor2121 Yeah... That's what I think. Other than boredom, it doesn't affect me much. (I have been freelancing for a year.) Just start wondering how much damage it will do to the country's economy and sequentially how that will affect me afterwards.
Maybe this will end in a week or two if things go well. That's my best wish.

The peak is estimated to be reached in Mid-February. If we're lucky things will cool down by March.

@heyheni I can confirm that it worked in Guangdong pretty much exactly one year ago without a VPN.

@rutee07 One year for a vaccine? Nah if you are talking even with the science guy he will tell you that even he dosent have any idea when it will happen. It might be easy or not. NOBODY KNOWS.
