Tabs vs spaces. The battle most programmers fight.

    @DutchmanDavid because tabs are formatted inconsistently between editors... It's not as though we don't use the tab key, we just convert them to a fixed width of spaces

    Vs allows tabs to be represented at four spaces, I like this, I like this so much I ran code maid against my solution wen everyone went home and forwarded a mail how to get this setting to the team , but one one dumbass didn't do it, spoilt my whole evil plan, he will soon be banned from source control, fuck that guy

    I've actually never met anyone IRL who would use tabs. For real. I'd be happy with tabs to indent, spaces to align. But a bit concerned about column limit, I guess some would set their tabs to 2 just to get passed that :/

    @DutchmanDavid by default almost any console editor has tab width of 8. Moreover this is the value for the tab size in Python when it sees mixed tabs and spaces.

    @DutchmanDavid tab width at 8 is the standard for Linux kernel source.
