GhostDev8808yIf you have the plague stay home.. How do people not know this? Instead of having one person performing under plague, you will soon have 50... That's 50 people feeling like shit, coding like shit, and then they give it to their children who in turn give it to 250 other people due to their children sharing a day care with plagued child and then those people spread it to their companies... You came to work and you started an epidemic.. People like that will be the reason the zombie outbreak goes out of control... Contain the plague! ''\(O,.., O) /''

navster6438y@Rooki so true. I have very little sympathy when someone walks in with bags under their eyes and they're sneezing uncontrollably

GhostDev8808y@navster you know rather take a day or two and recover, take care of yourself, consider yourself and your colleagues... The whole company won't burn if one employee is absent for 2 days... Instead of them getting worse and/or infecting everyone else.. It's not dedication so much as inconsoderation for yourself and others. Worst part is most employers don't even notice nor care if you're there and sick, they care about productivity in my experience.

navster6438y@DevotedSniper pretty much everyone apart from me and @centralhez. You may need bio hazard warfare tactical gear 🙈

GhostDev8804y@SweetHuman so it's been a few years, I used to be rookie but I asked my name please be changed. A senior dev found a rant where I was complaining about sexism (and honey there was some real sexist behaviour), and asking for advice on how to best handle it, it turned quite wholesome really. But then I got a final written warning from the company for slander and I had to remove the rant before the end of the day... There was no evidence or ties other than the way I spoke, and my gamer tag on steam was also rookie (yea rookie mistake gaming with colleagues) . But HR dished it out never the less, so I turned ghost. And resigned also, but kept quiet not knowing if the person was still watching. Fun times really. So now you know what happened, doubt it even bugged you as much as it bugged me though. I can be at peace now😋
Oh you're sick but you've decided to come into the office when you could've worked from home. Thank you for the gift of the plague.
