Need help!
I accidentally installed a malware on systrm some chinese software now appears with devices with this pc. And i am able to boot upto windows home screen. When services are starting my oc shows BSOD page fault. I ran diagnostic tools it showed 2100 error in hd 0. Can anyone help. I need to recover imp files from OS drive :(

Sounds like a job for a Linux live disk / live USB. I'd build one on another machine (plenty online sources for how, use Ubuntu if you're new to Linux) and boot into that to recover files... but remember to ensure they're cleaned before putting them back on a primary windows install.

you might want to use sandbox next time before opening any suspicious files and or "somefiles.*"

@L33tch yeah i am trying to recover files using bit defender recovery disk.. I just wanted to know if there is another way.. I want to delete that malware.. I think it is caused by that thing only

@hunchie disktest showed error 2100 on hdd 0 :(

@rokrapoorv probably because of the damage caused by the malware you installed. T^T but don't give up yet, there‘s still some way to recover your data or to fix that 2100 error.

Thanks all of you. It was a fucking chinese malware which corrupted my virtual memory.. Resolved it using rescue disc ^.^

@rokrapoorv, I've been able to get past similar with a safe mode install of either SpybotSD or MalwareBytes (one of them was able to install in safe mode but can't remember which, both have free versions) and then scanning and if Spybot, immunising the computer (which blocks known IP addresses using your hosts file) and then hopefully being able to get into Windows and installing and scanning with the other of the two. But if nothing works and you really need the data but can't send for data recovery... digital forensics / data recovery tools would be the next best but also not gonna get around permanent physical damage. Have a look at Kali Linux if you're interested but use as a last resort before forking out for some expensive professional data recovery. As @hunchie said, there's usually a way, but do think of the effort and risk/reward ratio; formatting and starting over might be worthwhile :(

@rokrapoorv I just searched the 2100 error and saw a possible SSD firmware connection... is it a solid state drive? If so maybe look into updating it's firmware. Highly unlikely but I suppose it is possible that some malware might have attempted to corrupt it.
