Honestly, when you're not getting bites, identify a target and lie. It's all box checking, none of the recruiters know anything about the domain they're hiring for. Never feel ashamed of bending the truth in that case, the shame falls on the people who decided that your ability to obtain employment should be controlled by a salesperson who knows nothing about that job, yet are empowered to act as gatekeepers to your success.
