I wish they had stopped the service altogether already

Its due to so many working from home.

Part is increased load from those working and part from those that have to stay home but cannot work.

The combined effect has been stressing the grid in dome areas.

Ot everywhere but some areas. And netflix probably do not know exactly which customers that affect said weak spots.

Considering that their streaming service occupies a big percentage of the entire traffic of the internet, it's really not that surprising.

They got servers in IXP so I don’t think they can make internet to crash except when dumb fuck people are watching video over vpn but that’s sysadmin problems.
