There's the link.
Currently they have a large surpluss in computing supply as the world rallied behind them and linked up all the spare pc's
My rig currently only have 2 out of the 6 gpu's working. But thats a good thing since they have more capacity than they need and can expand the experiments that they run -
endor56665yDefinitely keep the rig as far away from your bed as you can. I tried running mine (3 vega gpus with stock coolers and fan cranked high) for a couple of weeks inside the house, and I got the worst sleep of my life. From two rooms over.

I had to stop my two machines from doing it because my room is getting too warm during the day. Is good for cold nights tho

Anyone who wants to start Folding@Home, make sure the "I support research fighting" option is set to "any disease". That will ensure you get any available coronavirus simulations since they're top priority right now and there isn't a specific category for them.
There.s this thing where you can donate pc capacity to do medical simulations on protiens. It helps to understand deseases.
Its called "folding at home"
They now running studies on corona.
So today i started up my old mining rig again (6x rx480's) and set it up to run in the corner of the room. It acts as heater and since winter is starting here i decided well why not heat up my room while someone else use those gpu'sto study corona..
Well turns out mining rigs are still noisy! So much for that idea.
Well i will have to move it or no sleep for me
