@hunchie I'm very sorry if I wrote my post in a confusing way, but what I meant is 1$ converted to btc. thus sending 0.0016 to @hidden

You kids and your virtual currency...
  • 4
@hidden make sure you keep it, in 50 years it might be $10000, I wish I would have bought some when they were $12 a bitcoin
  • 2
@jckimble pretty sure it'll be at least higher that the current price or maybe it'll go down..

@Minzkraut yup~ I see it~ xD I wonder how many btc you got.

@hunchie if it's still around it probably will be around that cause by then the difficulty of a mining a bit coin will probably cost around that much so as long as nobody breaks the Cypher by then it's a pretty safe bet. especially seeing how much they are used for anonymity it's actually better than cash for not being tracked which is a wierd concept seeing that anybody can view transactions.

@jckimble I agree. + with that cryptocurrency debit card.. people will be using virtual currency more often.
  • 1
@hunchie I didn't know about the debit cards, I'm going to have to get me one. depending on how well they work the value of bitcoin will probably go up though cause unlike hard cash you don't have to find an exchange when traveling to different countries since in theory bitcoin could used as a free universal currency while traveling if these work

@jckimble indeed, when stores all over the world start accepting payment in bitcoin or when one can use cryptocurrency to pay in other currency such as USD or JPY then, it'll be on high demand. It's not possible but it's not impossible. I know, it's just a virtual currency. but hey, who knows.. people started trading in btc already. And you can turn your coins into physical money since there are people who are buying and selling cryptocurrency.
so.. yeah, it's possible... or it'll be just another dumb ideas #2 of mine. xD
    😅😅😥

@hunchie yeah right now it requires a decent amount of technical knowledge to pull it off, if stores start accepting it natively it would be a real good kick for bitcoin. but that being said with the debit cards you should beable to link it to ipay/android pay or use the debit card anywhere unless I'm missing the point(which I could be). on top of that stripe supports bitcoin so it's a matter of time before other online payment processors support it also.

@jckimble yes, agree. If people are more aware of this crypto currency thing, then sooner or later they will start implementing it.
