This is exactly why I have a male presenting avatar and try to keep my gender ambiguous on other forms.

Was speaking to a back end person the other day who was asking about working with JS. Told him I was a previous php/ laravel dev but gave him sound advice and resource including using webstorm since using a language specific IDE makes it easier but if not here is list of extensions for VS code.

He had the nerve to proceed to tell me I must do a lot of UI design work.
