orijin20208yOn the other side Apple calendar supports caldav where you can hook up any calendar runing on the CalDAV protocol.
Google has it, they closed it down to make their calendar unavalable outside of their platforms.
Microsoft? They don't follow any specifications. But there's a plugin for outlook that adds support for caldav.
One for android exists too.
The reason it's difficult to get events from apple calendar to other services is because they're closed down or not follow specifications.
I'm syncing 10.000s of events between apple devices, android phones and outlook instalations in one of my apps.
The easisets to setup are the ones running iOS or macOS/OSx. -
@orijin is it that hard for apple to give a hyperlink buttons for each service that adds event online calendar ?...

orijin20208y@HoloDreamer yeah because you need to send data to that link and if that data isn't standardised and bound to unpredictable changes it would break your software and make your users unsatisfied. Apple doesn't like to deal with this and they don't have rapid/frequent updates pushed.

Why is apple so uncooperative?! Just tried to add their event to my google calendar and guess what, they haven't put any effort to make it easy.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has made it lot more easier not just on google calendar but even on Yahoo's.
Little things like this speak a lot about the company and their culture.
