Today I had plans to refresh my knowledge about transactions' internals in dbms and in general.

Then the rainy weather hit the town. The whole sleepy day wasted on Netflix.

Well.. I guess it was time for a break :) haven't had one in weeks

Good. Keep it that way. I was wondering who was jinxing my productivity and apparently it was you all along! ๐Ÿ—ก โš”๏ธ๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿนโš’๏ธ

i swear since i've cancelled my Netflix subscription i'm more happy and i don't want to go back.

It was fun 2015-2019 when netflix threw billions of dollars at young innovative film makers and looked what sticked.

But now i feel like they have their formula. I had the feeling that the content messes with your mind and makes you slightly anxious/uncomfortable so that you continue to watch even more to compensate that bad feeling you get from watching it.
Like in the USA where everything is scary so that someone can sell you a cure.

I rather have a conscious decision to watch a good movie on a Saturday night than beeing held hostage by media addiction. I mean i'm addicted enough to my smartphone. I don't need more addiction in life. So say no to binge watching. ๐Ÿ˜„

@heyheni I agree, it does have the superpower to eat up all your time, doesn't it ๐Ÿ˜

frankly I don't have a problem with that. I have enough discipline and will power to do what needs to be done. What I don't have though is the means to be not sleepy and to concentrate in such lo-pressure days :) all rainy, dark, begging for a warm tea and cozy bed. No way to be productive :/
