Get used to it on Arch

Typo in the boot config or missing intelucode?

    Now what did I do?

That seems about right for a first attempt.
Normally the second time you'll kernel panic, and only the third time it'll boot normal-ish.

Until you remember you didn't setup your network interfaces correctly and start all over again.

Seems like your devRant score is too low. Try increasing your score and reboot, that should do the trick!

You have to develop everything past the boot stage, welcome to Arch

You're on virtual box. All the comments seem to ignore that little fact. Run it on bare metal and take off the training wheels.

@Bobj2008 Boot loader is pointing to the wrong disk/location. Reinstall and go slow when typing the partition locations. Double check your /etc/fstab

@stable-penguin Yep. I will be reading the install guide step by step to insure that I am doing it correctly.

@Bobj2008 Awesome, glad to hear that you're sticking with it. I wanted to pull my hair out several years ago when I tried my first Arch install and I'm glad I stepped back and then gave it another go! Good luck --

@stable-penguin I love this kinda stuff. Once I get my mind on something, I have to get it finished.

Yeah I was like that too a couple of years ago when tried to install a custom ROM on my phone. I kept at it for two weeks trying to get it to work. Then I realised that my phone wasn't compatible with adb :(
