I think the scariest thing I'm gonna do this Halloween is install Arch...

    It's not that hard to install... But it takes a while to get your configuration right

    I know, it's just my first time doing it specifically for my personal computer. I'm not super worried, I've have to do most of the install steps before (mount drives, set up network stuff, etc.)

    No worries! The Arch wiki is extremely good and it's so worth it :)

    Read the wiki and the forums. You'll be fine. Also try out tiling managers like i3 or awesome. Once you get used to it you will find regular desktop environments and gui's in general laughably primitive and somewhat 'pedestrian'. Just remember to RTFM and KISS.

    Yeah, my buddies were saying to try i3, probably gonna use that. Also, the Arch wiki is amazing!
