I would use numbers, but that refers to opacity, that not the darkness of white/gray/colors..

naming colors especially from a set, got to be still the worst challenge, even if you try to bring some structure with darken/lighten functions, it still will at some point be again "dark-dark-gray" or "light-dark-blue"

wish there was some better way of sorting it, since even things like zeplin.io iirc export it with "light-lemon-green"

it does slightly help to have extensions that show the color like: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/... but yet again, which of those gray tones is the one I want?
