They aren't against racism against whites, or hetero people. Which is ironic imo, because like arent 50% of the world asian anyway?, but i dont know, honestly this whole discussion is just tiring, because no one really cares and everyone just tries to make sjws happy

Dev.to isn't worth looking at. It's a cavalcade of the unskilled banding together to stay that way.

@SortOfTested Yup, I quickly noticed that after reading one of the top-of-all-time posts that was about a small blockchain in JS for storing messages.

They didn't store the actual messages.
They didn't store the information needed to reproduce block hashes, namely discarding the nonce entirely.
They didn't even include a blockchain verification method.

And they got among top of all time. Fascinating. I wonder if those people even read the article.

Yep, that site is cancer to our profession.

Favoring one group over another (or treating them differently) is the definition of prejudice. These "anti-x-ism" people are actually quite prejudiced (and honestly, it shows.)

Also, telling people not to think about a pink elephant is the best way to get people to think about a pink elephant. The same applies to prejudices like racism and sexism. Surprise!

dev.to is the reddit version of devRant: lefty and overly authoritative, and chock full of woketards. Also, very little (if any) correct or useful content.

Last client I worked with was extremely racist and sexist in extremis; anything technology was 97% the same ethno-origin.

It was fine though because the people being racist and sexist were "minorities" and "immigrants". 🙄

I just wish everything would stop being weaponized.

And yeah, these CoCs allowing anti-white racism and anti-male sexism are reason enough for me not to take part in such projects. I would feel unwelcome like a Jew on a nazi website.
