After having put up with 5mbps at home for months (naked dsl), finally decided to ring up and see if there was an issue. Turns out there was! All fixed now. Speed now more than triple what it was before. Aw yeah.

@hidden @dewguzzler damn the best you can get in Mississippi is 50mbit/s mine is the one below at 25mbit/s I could only justify $50 a month after I've been tethering off of 3g/4G and before that dialup

@jckimble yeah used to have Comcast 50Mbps, still not cheap. Bought a house and needed Internet and they said like 2 weeks and sometimes I work from home and I couldn't wait. Cancelled them and got fiber, almost same price for 1Gbps/$70 a month no data cap. They actually have 10Gbps available but 300 a month is too much lol

@dewguzzler yeah simular story here, was tethering from my phone with 3g cause I had unlimited internet, phone broke had to change plans to 4G limited which worked ok but I had to watch my usage. then moved into a new house and got uverse.
