after spending a day figuring out why my code does not work, i finally realized someone broke master

then i found myself in the following conversation

jim : "yeah, we found out about it yesterday, i am working on a fix right now"

me : "so why did you not send and email to everyone that master is broken, don't pull changes"?

jim : "hey... someone told me to fix it, so that's what i am doing. that doesn't include sending an email. if you want to, you can send it.. "

    what an awful attitude.. Sounds like one of those "im always right everyone else in the wolrd is wrong" primadonna kinda programmer :/

    Well, if you were him and you were told to fix something, would you send the email ? Personnaly, I'd think it was already sent by the person who did it / found it, haha.

    @AmineIzumi never assume and always communicate. At least asking if anyone else knows already... Communication is central to effectiveness of a team is it not?
