Jilano273044yYes, the golden rule is:
- up to 24" --> 1080p
- 27" --> 1440p
Regarding your connection, are you sure you have the full 100Mbit? Because it should be enough for a normal usage. I also have a 1Gbit at home and most websites (i.e. servers) are the one limiting me. -
@LotsOfCaffeine It's this attrocity!

I have no idea why they ever thought this to be a good idea! -
@k0pernikus prove yourself for three months and then ask if you could get your desired dream setup?

How the fuck did I manage to write that. What I meant to say was to position it farther away.

Jilano273044y@electrineer Sorry. I already proceeded to put father away. He shall no longer pose a threat.

zankar20864y@LotsOfCaffeine for gaming and only for gaming. 1080p is god enough in my opinion and its easier to run at 144hz or so.
But that's just me.
For work though you need something bigger :) -
Jilano273044y@zankar I prefer 1440p for the screen real estate (love having space to configure my UIs), but you're right on the performances, though. Hopefully DLSS 2.0 will be able to help with that.

A 27" monitor with a 1080p resolution is a match made in hell. Oh the eye bleach. (At home I got 30" with 2k or 1440p resolution. Much better viewing experience.)
I'm having my first day in the office in the new job after two week of remote work. I think I will prefer working from home office definitly (even though the office coffee machine is nice).
It doesn't help that the internet connection in the office is 100 Mbit and at home I have 1 Gbit.
