I have been hoping to ask someone..how do you motivate ladies who are finding it hard to climb the programming ladder. I hv 2 in my startup. I engaged them bcuz they were my uni first yr and were struggling. Now they are working with me but still finding it wuite challenging...am I doing something wrong?

@progzilla well, you've taken the first few steps correctly. now it's just a matter of time and letting them practise programming. You give them tasks in an incrementally tougher fashion, so they could build confidence while continuing to learn to solve new problems. After all, perseverance is what is going to make the difference.

@madrix999 are you serious? He probably just meant that the function doesn't do anything besides returning a string, so it's useless because it can be written like a simple variable.
