is there anyone uses ancient languange called COBOL here?

Probably not the kind of dev that's on DevRant, but I'm sure they would have some good ones.

At my old job, a director setup a meeting where he wanted to talk about converting Java code to COBOL because it's simpler.

I started looking for a new job like that day.

Of course that company also had a manager who told me not to use inheritance because it's too complicated to read. Instead use one big if statement with lots of else's.
