Wanted to play a new game this WE.
It's quite demanding so decide to boot into Windows, because NVIDIA driver support.
Haven't booted Windows 10 in a month so I start early in the morning to do the updates.
After about 3 hours all Windows and steam updates were installed and I finally start the game.
I play for a couple of hours until suddenly - blue screen
I rebooted and was faced with another blue screen right after the Windows logo. Didn't even reach the login screen.
So here I am with a Windows install that is stuck in a boot - blue screen - boot - system repair - blue screen loop and a shitty gaming WE.

Thanks Microsoft!

    @linuxer4fun Yeah I know, but I generally get better performance on Windows. Well, IF it works at all...

    Windows Updates always crash when you try to do many at a time, they should be done manually, ten at most at a time, or not done at all. Freaking annoying.

    Windows 7 for gaming. Still the best supported version.

    yea either win 7 or just get a ps4 dude, nothing beats it

    @SergioTBH Ok NOT applying updates is something of a stupid move.

    The last time someone told me I shouldn't apply windows updates, oh... Uhm... Shit... I was... Let's say I was 17 (so ~2004, I'll be honest I don't exactly remember now) and the same guy was telling me that the best way to lay out a HTML page was to use tables!

    @nmunro He said you should do them manually... That doesn't mean you should not update.

    @J4s0n Actually I didn't see an option for that on Win 10, but will keep it in mind for my next adventure

    @gnaaah i don't know I undinstalled win 10 after the anniversary update
