Root
4y

Root experiments.

Spiced rum, kahlua, grand mariner, chocolate liquor, milk, ice. Tastes like house paint, and not in the good way like protein bars. Do not recommend. Better with more milk, but still meh.

Spiced rum, kahlua, triple sec, milk, ice. Tastes like orange milk with coffee. Pretty nice.

Spiced rum, ice. Tastes like a faint memory of heaven. Amazing grace, hallelujah.

That's a lot of things to mix tbh πŸ˜‚

The simpler it is, the better. Especially for whenever I'm nearing blackout and losing my coordination lmao

    @Stuxnet Agreed. I got creative. 🀷🏻‍♀️

@Root one of my favorites is Kinky Blue and yellow Gatorade. But the problem is, it's a liqueur and only 17% alc. Takes the whole bottle to even feel a buzz lmao

Haven't tried too many things but I'm working my way around to a buncha different things.

@M1sf3t Vodka and Coke Zero is my fav.

@Fast-Nop that sounds awful ngl, but I'm also curious enough to try it.

@M1sf3t usually just use it as the first few drinks to get me started with the vodka lol. Can get a few glasses out of the Gatorade bottle

@M1sf3t I've been drinking coke/Pepsi zero for about 3-5 years now lol. it's just never something I'd think to pair with vodka. Usually stick to sprite, lemonade and some juices.

@M1sf3t I'll get around to it eventually. It is definitely the best mixer from what I've seen, especially with the different flavors. I tried UV Blue (raspberry) and Sun Drop. It was strange. I swear it tastes like a Smirnoff Green Apple but my friends tell me I'm tripping so 🀷🏻‍β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚

My goal is to try as much and many different things as I can. And eventually have my own mini bar lol

@Stuxnet What I like about Coke Zero is that is doesn't taste as sweet as the sugared one (I hate that) and doesn't give as much of a headache when mixed with vodka (because no sugar). At the same time, Zero doesn't have the strange taste of Coke Light, or at least far less of it.

In winter, grog is an alternative. Over here, this means hot black tea with rum.

@Fast-Nop yea the lack of a sugar is always a plus. I always grab sprite zero or sugar free lemonade to make sure the headache and hangover is as close to avoidable as possible.

@M1sf3t I've thought about it, actually. Got a friend who was one and it seems worth it. Especially in a college town.

For now I usually just go get like 3 different of the little bottles and try the mixes myself before having to commit to a whole ass fifth of a liquor lol

Spiced rum, green tea, and orange sounds amazing! I’m totally going to try this when my tea arrives.

Wow, looks like @M1sf3t deleted his account in the last couple hours. I wonder what happened.
