Tbh I regret not learning my linear algebra properly. Made life difficult for machine learning.

Until you use them to make a complex process run 50x faster using the lp_solve library, with calculations regular humans will never understand, and people start seeing you as the ultimate-math-ninja-developer.
Yes, I now love linear algebra, sets and matrices. So will you one day, young padawan. -
kimailis5208y@gosubinit i hope i will, i just hate the lessons, and studying by myself is hard because i can't concentrate.

@kimailis Stop reading theory and go for the exercises. Then you read the theory as you need it. Worked for me. And invite friends to come over to do exercises together. I graduated in math, trust me, you wont learn much reading alone.

kimailis5208yare there any specific exercises or some projects that will require set theory and matrices?
-
@kimailis There is this book that I used in Applied Linear Algebra during college, full of exercises and applications. Great stuff. It is called "Linear Algebra and Its Applications" by David C. Lay, you will find a sample in http://whitemyth.com/content/...
I recommend that you buy the book in Amazon if you can, tho.
In fact, a math subject that you will have a lot of chance to use as developer if you work in cool places, is linear algebra.
i hate linear algebra so much, god damn set theory and god damn matrices.
