Assets, unexcusable, I guess. Scaling initial data loads with constrained platform choices (straight legacy MSSQL datasets) I can hit like 10 seconds.. talking like internal enterprise apps. If your employer doesn't understand quality and demands unreasonable timeframes. That, I'm saying, with deep nested structures where you can't just simply, buffer on scroll, or something. Splitting associations for the sake of concurrent calls, then putting them back together clientside, is an option (more so with http2). Takes time though to do it well though.

Loaded a site today, super slow. Checked network, it downloaded 3.8 MB. 😲
