That feeling when you apply to a job and in their rejection email where they point out that they have a whole rubric for assessing applications and you just don’t make the cut, they end the email with “We wish you success with your job search. To assist in your employment search, we would like to refer you to this [resource](http://myspectrumsuite.com/employme...)

@AmbientTea I didn't even catch until a few minutes ago that they didn't even bother addressing the email _to_ me. Thing starts with "Dear Candidate". And I'm BCCed on it!

I can't put into words why this bothers me so much, but it really does.

@sudo-woodo So the background is that the company in all of their marketing stresses the fact that 75% of their employees are on the autism spectrum. So I think they just .... blanket assume ... that everyone that applies is. And since they just BCC everyone the same email (it looks like), I'm just not the target audience.

@iiii To the best of my knowledge.

@AmyShackles Did you check if "has the 'tism" is on the rubric and is worth bonus points?

@sudo-woodo My friends with Asperger's prefer working with other high-functioning autistics rather than non-autistic people because they communicate much easier. If the majority has autism this can actually make sense.
