I'm surprised no one mentioned anything about Nvidia's new 30xx cards here on devRant. Or someone already did but I didn't see it?

    In b4 10 pages of Nvidia sucks AMD is the way, the truth and the light.

    I'm interested in new video cards, but waiting for AMD response. Nvidia cards this time seem like a good deal, unlike last generation. But right now those are just claims with no backing

    There was at least one post, though I don't have the link right now.

    @iiii Agreed
    They've released a new "comparison video" yesterday but that's probably cherry-picked, so I'd love to see some real benchmarks, now.

    @amatrelan what about quality of drivers? Their drivers are approximately 2 times less faulty than AMD drivers with the latest generation of video cards.

    PS: not trying to diss AMD. I'm rooting for AMD. But those are facts.

    nVidia driver problems
    Also, I just don’t play games anymore. I don’t really have the time. And the games I do play don’t have intense graphics. My 970ssc is fine. And in the event it isn’t, I have a second identical one (handmedown) I can run via SLI. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Anyway. The new cards really are amazing. Same with DLSS.

    @Root wow, someone still uses SLI O_o

    @amatrelan true, I've meant windows drivers mainly. AMD is more open to open source drivers so they are generally more robust for linux.

    @iiii I don’t, but I have the cards so I might?

    @amatrelan AMD being more open is why I'm rooting for them even though their graphics products aren't that great yet. I hope the new release reveals something really good.
