iiii90854yI'm interested in new video cards, but waiting for AMD response. Nvidia cards this time seem like a good deal, unlike last generation. But right now those are just claims with no backing

iiii90854y@amatrelan what about quality of drivers? Their drivers are approximately 2 times less faulty than AMD drivers with the latest generation of video cards.
PS: not trying to diss AMD. I'm rooting for AMD. But those are facts. -
Root797604ynVidia driver problems
Also, I just don’t play games anymore. I don’t really have the time. And the games I do play don’t have intense graphics. My 970ssc is fine. And in the event it isn’t, I have a second identical one (handmedown) I can run via SLI. 🤷🏻♀️
Anyway. The new cards really are amazing. Same with DLSS. -
iiii90854y@amatrelan true, I've meant windows drivers mainly. AMD is more open to open source drivers so they are generally more robust for linux.

iiii90854y@amatrelan AMD being more open is why I'm rooting for them even though their graphics products aren't that great yet. I hope the new release reveals something really good.
I'm surprised no one mentioned anything about Nvidia's new 30xx cards here on devRant. Or someone already did but I didn't see it?
