Average developer is not very different to average human.

@iiii The average humam's job is generally accepted to be work. No one asks their teacher friends to teach their kids for free unless the family has literally no money, and even then a coffee and some cake is the bare minimum. I've never gotten more than "thank you" for helping people out.

In this way we're most similar to artists, who are also often expected to enjoy what they're doing and therefore do it for free.
