Youtube is like twitter to me.
I have my couple go to things I look at, but otherwise the noise ratio is so damn high ... I'm tired of filtering content and look at nothing else.
Even stuff I used to like sometimes morph into garbage youtube-isms.
Like man I like your channel, but I've NO interest in seeing you do a reaction video to your old videos or whatever .... I'm out then. -
theuser47814y@N00bPancakes Indeed, when the masses flock in, it usually turns into a shitehole. The 18 year olds of today used to watch something like The Yogscast when they were 10. Back then they put a lot more effort into their content, but of course they figured at some point you don't have to.

@N00bPancakes pretty much all the shit that gets demonized is all the content worth watching.

Every time I heard "smash that like button" I smash the dislike button. Doesn't matter if I liked the video otherwise or not.
Whenever I babysit my nephew's, they get to watch YouTube. But oh man how fucking shite they are, how they amplify they voices, how they act all frantic and shit, and how they constantly wants you to smash that like button.
Lots of YouTubers have moved to twitch because Google doesn't want that kind of content anymore and I totally get why because it seriously makes me wanna die.
