@penderis not specifically for programming, I'm in a suit right now (no Colbert though) behind my computer at home. I almost always wear suits. And dates... I don't get dates.. Still single..

I don't wear a suit unless I have a formal meeting but I do have personal rules of what I deem acceptable.

It depends on where I'm working. I always at LEAST wear slacks a button down and a sweater. Most of the time I do wear a suit or a suit coat and nice slacks.
