    Yeah I do it in browser too unconsciously and it pops up the save dialog! Arrghhh

    I have an ESC+:w reflex. I do it a lot in IDEs too, and end up writing :w in a lot of my code. :/

    for me.. Everytime..
    and for some reason when I have to use nano, I lose unsaved changes

    I always have to press Crtl + Alt + L. Guess the IDE.

    I have Ctrl+X+S reflex. Even in chrome or wps-office writer I always find myself pressing the same key combination I use for saving in Emacs. The downside is Ctr+X is delete in writer so I have to undo several times.

    Same here. And then you get some Linux software packages that think ctrl + s is to send email and you are just there piling up on drafts.

    I do it all the time on online forms and on Facebook when commenting. I've got dozens of html files in my download folder lol

    A gf of mine used to only save her work when it was done. 6 hours into a report her pc crashes. Lord help these people. (Luckily I could recover the work by searching for deleted temp files)
