Call me crazy all you want, but I love my tangled mess of cords

Yeah yeah, I know, I know, wouldn't I just love a cordless setup and workspace ...

NO

Bluetooth devices are at best unreliable and at worst don't even work with Linux

I want to just be able to plug my shit in and work, not wait for everything to sync and hope I don't have connectivity issues

Call it living in the past all you want, I don't care. I love my cords

Fuck you and your bluetooth shit

It uses an rf transceiver on the 2.4ghz band. Each device broadcasts to the receiver with a packet that identifies its device id. It uses the id to demultiplex the incoming signals into discrete streams of instructions.

If you buy into that ecosystem, install the logitech software and make sure to update consistently. There have been a half dozen serious unified receiver vulnerabilities in the last 4 years.
