Yikes... I worked for a company where a man in a leadership position openly said this to all of the developers when he really meant to just say it to a few. All of the "A" players left and now the company is hemorrhaging talent. The A players who were responsible for fixing the crap hole the business dug themselves into were replaced by entry-level talent.
