Go for Linux Mint. Already using it for 3 years , at home and at work. awesome. I think the most stable dist in whole Linux environment.

Arlekin8958y@tatocaster Well its still basically ubuntu, and all it's derivatives have similar strengths and weaknesses (tried a few), but i never tried anything redhat based so...

@Arlekin Sure you should try some distributives and chose your best. For me its still debian/ubuntu based distros, so I chose stable to maintain easily home and office projects and environments. (you may say, use Vagrant, or Docker, I'm not talking about them, just OS). I tried a few, approx. 10 distros and stopped on Mint.
So pick your best, good luck. -
Arlekin8958y@tatocaster well i landed back on ubuntu after being tired of the hassle with other distros, but im so tired of bloat and tons of issues with simplest things that im desperate enough to believe that yet another distro switch will save me ;P

Arlekin8958y@aki237 While i appreciate moving frontlines forward, i had to switch to x11, since on wl it freezed :/
