People distressed the fuck out of me today.

So now, 2:18 in the morning, I'm in bed, wide awake. Because anxiety is shit.

... And I have to be up early to do the work that I didn't do today.

Smh...

Why do people have to be such dicks?

    I find myself asking the same shit too often

    @Lyym answer: because otherwise the rest of us won't be able to call ourselves good people and feel good about ourselves.

    @Fast-Nop awwwww that's the nicest compliment you've given me!

    Cause we have a choice.

    Awww, @NoMad ... Try n take it easy today, OK?

    I kind of wanted to just hold and comfort you yesterday because I got distressed by how distressed you got and wished that that person would've had even that inch of decency to just bugger the f off...

    People suck. I hope you have a stress-free day at work.

    Dont blame people. Its your reaction that is inadequate. Maybe u drank too much coffee or something. Easiest is to blame someone, hardest is to find the problem and fix it. If they really are dicks, draw the line so that they would either get their shit together or change the workplace

    @zemaitis in this context: people referred to really behaved like dicks.
  • 2
    @100110111 to my surprise, that wasn't my last fight of the day... 🙄 (the next one was more civil and with a friend, but like, still)

    @zemaitis you're wrong on so many levels.
    Next stop, you'll be victim-shaming. Lol.

    If someone is sick enough to attempt harming another, be it emotional or physical, they are the only one to blame.

    @Fast-Nop your compliment got cencored

    @electrineer weird tho, cuz it shows as +1 for me on his profile, but doesn't show here... dR Bugs?
  • 2
    @zemaitis they way you're approaching the subject seems like you do try to shit on people's heads from time to time

    @Lyym OMFG 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  • 1
    @Lyym At least I was trying to give some constructive feedback from another perspective instead of circlejerking like some
  • 2
    @zemaitis constructive criticism disguised as blaming the person who was just put through a stressful situation and making it seem that they are overreacting, is a kind of emotional manipulation, blame shifting, and overall minimization of a traumatic experience (in whichever degree you look at it)

    Trying to comfort a person after such a situation isn't circle jerking, it's being empathic and a decent human being

    @Lyym Im not defending assholes, my main point was to fight for yourself or/and grow a thicker skin. My opinion is as much valid as urs, life is not black or just white. So get off your high horse
  • 1
    @zemaitis bonus points for caring, still, your method was not the best.

    Now, both of you stop.

    @NoMad devrant's intelligent cencoring algorithm will hide posts any time they get a couple downvotes

    @electrineer Well, at least @NoMad understood it as positive as it was meant to be. :-)
