Alone! When all the code's my own I can understand it better, generally. Though it does mean stuff comes out way slower...

Both for me. We use this expression: Alone you go faster, but together we come further.

So during sprints I rather have some time alone to stay in the zone. After that my colleague an I use some time to review our codes before the next sprint meeting

    Depends who asks the question.
    If interviewer - Team
    In reality - Alone

I haven't had the opportunity to work much in a team. However on the occasions I have I enjoyed it. It really depends on the team members. My ideal scenario is working with someone I can bounce ideas off and trade reviews. But generally be working on different things.

    Alone most Of the time...

There's a time a place for both approaches.

@boo1997 this is the only correct answer.

During my computer science course: alone, there are a very small amount of classmates that I think I'd enjoy working with. Group assignments always cause trouble because people were either very stubborn about their own right or they were not motivated about the project (or programming in general)
The rest of my life: probably teams, I have worked together with a good bunch of people on a good amount of (mostly) fun projects and I have fairy rarely encountered any problems (except for motivation on lazy Saturday mornings ;))

    But I can enjoy both

Always dependent on the team. If you've got a team of motivated, smart people to bounce ideas an concepts around there are few nicer things in the world, if you have to deal with someone who's just there for the money though working in a team might become a nightmare quite fast.

I usually do some frontend stuff... I can't live alone XD

Depends on the team, if they know what they are doing i am happy with either.

Pair programming can be awesome, so I typically prefer that, otherwise I'd code alone

Alone if I can choose. I worked in a team for "laboratory 1" class in university (algorthms&data structures, assembly and java project). 4 people, one of which basically did nothing and leeched the mark in the end.

    Both.

The experience of coding alone, questioning yourself and having time to learn makes you a better coder.

But working in a team opens your mind to new ways of thinking and brings you another world of experience.

It would be awesome to allways have time for both.
